We are a family owned business based in Hillsborough, North Carolina. We are passionate about creating products for skin and hair using herbal ingredients. Our educational background in cosmetic chemistry, coupled with our cultural heritage steeped in herbal medicine, led to the creation of Zakai. Our journey started with our childhood upbringing in India where we watched our grandparents harness pure and simple remedies of nature around them. Zakai is inspired by our desire to pass down those traditions in today’s modern world. We strive to source all of our ingredients sustainably from the United States.
